It was a little nippy and windy this morning...you can't tell, but I am smiling a big happy-brithday-smile under the neckwarmer!Mom, for your birthday, I found you some prime real estate up here.
I tried to get some shots of the inside, but it was blocked with snow and I couldn't get my shoulders through. But, it sounds like it will be a nice and cozy vacation home for you and Dad.

Dad and I thought the real estate had potential. The ONLY question I have is its accessibility for quick getaways. Otherwise, it looks absolutely perfect. I do wonder if we would have fun neighbors for block parties. It's hard to tell from your photo. Your comments will be appreciated.

You would absolutely have wonderful neighbors...at least 20 other people here in the summer, 4 or so in the winter. They would definitely party with you and Dad. And on the quick get-away question...all you need to do is make buddies with someone in the New York 109th Air National Guard and you are totally set.
And Jill, the roof is wonderful - how could you even question it? A little bit of drifted snow covering your home never hurt anyone...as long as you can still get out. :-)
